Makran Steel Company is working to build a direct regeneration unit for the production of sponge iron in the form of hot briquettes (HBI) with a capacity of one million six hundred thousand tons per year, with the aim of exporting products and earning currency for the country and creating employment and development in the fertile province of Sistan and Baluchistan. With the aim of creating a complete iron and steel production chain complex in the country with a capacity of 3 million tons of steel products in the form of billets, slabs, sheets, construction sections and rebar, this company is planning to implement development chain units.
